The story is of a royal masquerade ball set in 18th century Venice. It is a time of war as the last remnants of the once great Venetian power begin to crumble. However, the court has decided to throw the ball regardless, as a way for their subjects to let their hair down in true Venetian regality…disguising themselves behind masquerade masks of grace and gravitas. But just when all seems well, an enemy faction infiltrates the ball and starts trouble, causing a showdown of epic proportions…rogues versus princes, dames against femme fatales, just who will triumph in this clash of power? Audition and find out ![]()
No of dancers: 20 - 25 (aiming for 20 unless everyone happens to be super amazing)

This is an extremely character based piece, the story is the most important part. Tony or Maria? Description: “Do you remember growing up, turning on the TV and bopping along to your favourite children’s cartoon and posing like a Thundercat or pumping out your chest to “stare” away your enemies or even looking for Ghosts with your Ectometer? Remember the first games console you played and getting all excited when pulling off that 10 hit combo or finding that secret Green mushroom? Well it’s time to relive that moment.”
