You mean you don’t already know?!?!?
King’s College London Dance Society is one of the biggest and most successful student society within the university circuit, housed at West Wing, Guy’s Campus! Originally created to hold classes in Street Dance and Ballet, today KCL Dance Soc has over twelve different styles for you to try!! We offer weekly classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Salsa, Bachata, Swing, Zumba, Hip Hop, Burlesque, Flex & Tone, and new this year, Commercial! We’re also continuing with our weekly workshops, where you can come down to try a different style each week! Stay tuned to our Twitter and Facebook for more updates!
Each year, Dance Soc plan, choreograph and deliver a sell-out show at the Greenwood Theatre for charity. This event is arguably the biggest production in the Students’ Union, with a success that mirrors the Society’s size. In addition to being part of a great show, it is also an amazing chance have great fun rehearsing and performing!
Most people think that dancing is all about “jazz hands” and is merely for girls, yet KCL Dance Soc caters for all and has a strong masculine following- So if you’re male, come on down!
Finally, if you are a competition enthusiast, you’ll be pleased to know that the society has a competition team, KCL Fusion, and enters competitions nationwide showcasing dance talent!
