We’ve only gone and done it again!
On the 7th of Feb all 57 members of our competition team, FUSION, boarded the coach ready to head off to the University of Southampton for their annual dance competition.
Despite a few hiccups along the way we managed to get there just in time for our amazing ballerinas to run straight onto the floor to perform, which makes their triumphant win even more impressive.
Following on from their lead the remainder of our teams performed to their absolute best, dancing their socks off for the electric audience and professional judges.
This comp also held the debut of KCLDanceSoc’s very first salsa FUSION team. Never one’s to disappoint, they only went and won first prize! Spurred on by the crowd the performance was their best to date, with special credit to choreographer Jennifer Israelsson on her first win.
Here’s to yet another successful day full or dance and teamwork.
